completely download the driver package again from the Panny website. When it asks if you want to replace the one already there, click yes. Go to the package and do the self install again with it going to the util2 folder. Go to the util2 folder and do the install again. You should not have to delete the previous driver as the new will install over it. You just need to make sure everything that is in the package (drivers, registry entries and...

Not to belabor this thread, but I wonder if there is a way to determine exactly what the maximum fastest SDHC card that the port on my CF-29N will support. Toyo , if you are ever out my way, or vice-a-versa, I would like to try your SanDisk Ultra III 4 GB SDHC Memory Card that runs at 30 MByte/s in place of my Ultra II at 15 MByte/s and see how much difference it makes.

Port Replicator for CF-30
Published (2009-12-26 07:43:00)
CF-30 Port Replicator Part# CF-VEB272A2W Mine did come with a seperate power plug dongle that you plug the end of your factory charger into. I would assume the replicators all use the same plug, they just send out different plugs for the different models. Cheaper to manufacture that way?

Best things about the CF28-Mk3... It's ALWAYS ready to config a router when I need it... and if the router gets sarky, I can use the 28 to beat it into submission. Smirking at other techs as I "ping" my way through diag screens with the touchpanel... Always there when you need a stepstool... Worst thing about it... Real-life drop-testing where ANY appendage is involved. mnem You can't MAKE STUFF THIS GOOD up...

You can just google for CODECS such as Shark007 Codec for software to run your DVD's. Again this information is listed in the very thread you mentioned.

PDF files are available all over the Internet.... The original spec & sales sheets... Is that what you want? EDIT: Something like THIS? I think this is for the MK2.

Sorry, missed the relevance of the photo of the screen - I should have said from the outset that it was a touch screen, not digitiser. Also I do have extra graphics related options on the right click menu as you have, but no additional tablet/touchscreen related options which is what I am trying to track down.

You will probably get several opinions on this one. In theory, yes it will work as the vehicle docking stations are suppose to work with both. However, the question of functionality comes into play and whether all the functions of the 30 will work on a replicator designed for a 29. I am sure the home guard of the forum will chime in with more substantial findings. In regards to ...

Az - Your bottleneck in this will most likely be the chipset in the card reader; I am using a Class 4 4GB card in the machine I'm typing on. It has 1GB RAM and believe me, the difference IS amazing. I suspect that half of it has to do with the machine being able to address cache AT THE SAME TIME as it addresses the HDD; remember, most HDDs nowadays have cache RAM in them as well. Just remember...

CF-27 ..... One of the bad things that I have discovered is that knowing the exact model number means nothing. What I mean is that two Toughbooks with exactly the same model number ie CF-27EJ6K3EE can be totally different. Differences so far include such things as screen size, CPU speed, P2 or P3 CPU and amount of pre-installed non-removable RAM.
