I suggest you try running the updates posted in this thread >>> http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=437267 They might solver your problem, these are official but unreleased updates from Microsoft as they are waiting to include them in the future service pack

That involves some registry hacking, I think.. But I'm not too sure at all. Definitely not within the 'normal' theming region. Check with some Windows theming people? Windows really should be more flexible like Linux. They've improved it a lot with W7 with their various windows manager 'tricks', though.

Try pressing Alt+Enter while in game. It is usually the shortcut for full screen.

Probably unrelated but I find that occasionally my DVD drive isn't detected by Windows if it has certain DVD-R media in during boot. Rebooting and popping the disk out during POST will fix it.

Maybe it's the activity that the computer is performing that is causing it. I know that when my McAfee installation updates pop up on my desktop, it completely freezes for a second. Anyway, try uninstalling and reinstalling Setpoint, and try using the mouse when Setpoint isn't installed.

This is possible. If you right-click the 'Downloads' item in the Start Menu, go to Properties, it will have a tab called 'Location'. From there, you can select your Downloads Library.
