Hi, Firstly make sure you have the Isync version 3.1 for Snow leopard, if not then perform a software update and check. - Open Isync and then remove all the devices if listed there. - Go to isync Preferences and then click 'Reset Sync History" - Then go to ~\Library\Phones, Delete the phone entries present there. See other thread about Content Copier (ie. backup from phone to PC in PC Suite). It seems there are several ways the backup process can fail to start, fail whilst in progress or fail at the end, all of which result in no backup file(s) being produced. Looks to me as if there has been no serious testing of the software using real phones! There's even the possibility that backup is calling the wrong DLL (the one for sync'ing...

I think your dead right I may have to revert to a scripted close of it sadly. I woudl have thought it was possible to add it in as a property in the transform, but it doesn't look like it's an obvious property and as the guy from Nokia said they didn't know that's pretty sad really. If you have inside info please let us know. If you may recall, the iSync Plugin for the N97 took over 6 months to be delivered, while some other plugins do come a bit sooner, however given Nokia's past performance regarding the release of plugins, the word "soon" is relative. I have WinXP SP3 and I am using Nokia pc suite 7.1 I have the same problem and Arabic messages appear in strange characters. I hope the support team solves this problem at the next version. Abdo

Sorry Dave just checking, Anyhow, it's a problem with the N86 not being seen by iphoto on snow leopard that I want sorting. I dont really care for the NMT really. I can transfer films etc... via the phone being seen as hard drives. Just want iPhoto to see the N86 as a camera again! Cheers Tim

I am not sure this will resolve your problem but you could try with this. 1. Remove chaches from System/library/chaches 2. Delete all files from library/phone plugins 3. Download and install isync plugin for N95 8Gb which is available in Nokia website http://europe.nokia.com/A4299040 4. Add your device from isync and the sync

I too would like to know why the function of "Enable this device as digital camera" doesn't work with OS X 10.6.1 + iPhoto 8.1 (nor image capture). it Nokia multimedia transfer doesn't even remember the device name and always return to the default of (in my case) Nokia N95 8GB.
