Yep, I would also assume that the HTTP APIs do not require any enviroment variables etc., so the API could be used excatly the same in GUIless apps as well.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. My main intention is to build an application which will connect to Gtalk in symbian c++. If gloox is not happening is there any other way around to start the application with only symbian c++ apis. Can u help me around to solve this problem? Thanks in Adv.

anyone? How about using the AT commands directly to make a voice call and give voice data to the module that is already enrypted? is it possible? i know we can use the AT commands "http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.php/How_to_send_AT_Commands" but not sure if what i described above is possible or not.

Hi all, I am downloading images from a url using the HTTP Get as stated in S60Ex\WebClient. My code runs fine. I have verified with the stacks and object but whatever i try to close correctly, i get an code 36 panic on exit. tou could check the other wiki example: http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.php/File:Filter. zip , it has all nesessary capabilities for FP1&FP2 devices, note though that is you are using a file logging etc. for debugging, the plug-in is always loaded at least twice, so make sure you dynamically determine the debug file name, so all of them get their own.
