Hello to everybody! I'm new in Python and N95 :-) I would like to write an application for simple navigation to a given waypoint (lat, long). I wanna have bearing and distance to the given waypoint through $GPBOD messages. I've seen a lot of source code to get local position, but no information of how to get $GPBOD messages. I mean is it possible to send commands to the internal GPS ...

Hello Friends Its being a while since the last release, 8 months ago... Besides things are warm in repository trunk, with lots of exciting new things being done, I decided that was about a time to make a new release of Amora. Amora 1.1 is more a bug fixing release, though it has some new features: - server: bug fixing, bluetooth dongle disconnection detection, some ...

Hi guys, Does PyS60 have an infrared module? I'm planning to create a universal remote control using the CellPhone's built-in infrared port. I've been browsing the bundled documentation of PyS60 and so far I have not yet found one. I hope that you will consider this feature next time you release a new version or update of PyS60. Any comments or suggestion regarding this module is very ...

Hey I'm new to this forum, so sorry if I'm not use to the customs. I am writing a program on an N80 in pys60. I have come across the need to get the MAC address, and get and set the Subnet mask address programmatically through python. I've been looking all over the web and I have not found a way to do it. I was wondering if someone could help me with this.

Greetings, http://jouni.miettunen.googlepages.com/paparazzi Paparazzi Attack Paparazzi is a sensor game, where you have to help "Movie Star" (big yellow dot) avoid "paparazzis" (small red dots) as long as possible. You can do this by turning and tilting the mobile phone. For Fellow Developers This is an experiment how to use raw Sensor API data in game play. It's ...

Hi, I'm giving you a piece of software that I have been working on for a couple of last days. It's called RemoteKB (Remote Keyboard) and it will let you use your PC as a keyboard for your phone. For 3rd edition only. RemoteKB consists of two parts: 1. A desktop Python script that catches the keypresses and sends them to the phone. 2. A PyS60 standalone application that receives the ...

I was used in my SonyEricsson V600 to be able to remotely control any bluetooth HID enable computer, which was really nice. Now with my E65 (which I have for some time, but just now I started missing this), I can't find anything that does this. I mean, I find a lot of application combos (PC and Phone side software) to do this, but I wanted to use the HID profile, like my V600 did. I mean, I ...

Ok, I think it's time to make it public. appuifw2 is an external module for PyS60 which builds on top of the appuifw module and extends it with additional and improved features. It provides the same interface which means that you can replace all references to appuifw module in your scripts with appuifw2 and everything should work as expected. Initially available for 3rd edition devices ...

It's a shame the original Ped thread has been closed, I wanted to end its life with a release of final version after a series of beta versions. However, the old thread ended with a couple of bug reports so I had to create a new thread to let us talk about them. Please repost your questions or reports and I'll try to answer ASAP. Regards, yak PS: New to Ped? Here's the ...
