No I wasn't there I had to work unfortunatly. I was mad too cause I wanted to call in the contest. The guys from utah brought 10 dz. FFD's but only put out 6 dz with my buddies 4 dz. The pit we put in it is funny. It is really hit or miss. We won it 3 yrs ago, placed 3rd two years ago, never fired a shot last year and won it again this year. Thats the fun of goose hunting I guess!!

I guess the 2 shot is all about which pit you draw. We had a nice one next to the golf course. We nailed the first pair, but messed up on the second batch. Oh well. My brother-in-law, Tom Harpstreith, said that the winners last year (from Utah) brought 20 doz. hardcore decoys with them. Don't know if that is exactly a level playing field, but I suppose I could have brought my decoy trailer also. Anyway, it's about the fun - not the...

Some Good Hunting Over Christmas...

Ya there are a lot of lessers around in this area. We have had a lot of cold and snowy weather lately and it is throwing the geese off their regular pattern. It is making it really hard to hunt them. For example, we went out hunting this morning and at about 7:15 we saw all the geese fly over and go back to their roost so I guess they fed all night. I hope they get back to their regular patterns soon so we can get back to killing them.

I have a 2009 SUB, it is very comfy, but a pain to set up. I have an older Ground Force and there is a pipe right under where your butt goes very uncomfortable, but very easy to set up.

Nice pics. Folks don't know just how good the goose hunting can be in Wyo. Where are you located? I'm in Platte Co, Wy. and knee deep in snow at the moment. Did the Goshen Co. Two-Shot on the 12th -didn't place but had lots of fun -you ever attend this event? BTW, I have a Benelli SBE, NIB, Unfired, I'm trying to find a home for. It would be a lot easier to find someone out here (vs ...
