NHS spine, am I too late?

I noticed on your home page, you have something about the NHS spine. Now I don't want my details on that database but am I to late? It says we should of had a letter about it but I have had nothing. I have printed a copy of the letter off and going to take it to my doctor next week. But what happens if it has been put on the NHS spine, without my permission? Thanks. http://www.no2id.net/ http://www.thebigoptout.org/optoutletter

If you've had no letter from the NHS about uploading your records to the Spine then in theory you're in time, and no "Summary Care Record" has yet been created about you. However, a word of warning - some doctors who've surveyed their patients in areas where the uploads are happening report that a percentage have no recollection of receiving the letter. We don't know if this is because they didn't...

The NHS database apparently is connected to a European health records database / interoperability / ICT project It seems the aim is that our health records can be accessed anywhere across Europe. The EU also has the aim of privatising health services, which means that records have to accessible to a wide variety of public and private sector health providers http://www.euractiv.com...
