Fuel range X'd on warning...

^do ittt... And report back, I want to know how long I can run my car before filling up. Calculate how many miles you got until the tank ran dry and how many gallons it took when you filled it up (include the WHOLE gallon of gas you have to put in to get from where you died to a gas station) And in case anyone is worried, running out of gas isn't going to damage a damn thing. It puts a little wear on the fuel pump, but other than that no...

yeah i'll remember to add in that extra gallon. I still have a 1/4 of a tank to go before i hit the E mark and even then i can probly go another 70-100 miles. That road trip program i have actually lets you specify whether you're doing a full tank or partial fill, which comes in handy when i only put a half a tank in and it keeps the average mpg numbers from getting screwed up. it's pretty cool. since sept 10, it says i've...

...Any thoughts on 20" x 8" -OR- 8.5" with a 225/35/20? My current rims are shot. Cracked one. The size of my current rims are 19" x 7.5", with a 215/35/19. I'm in a debate on whether to get another set of 19"s, and keep my Falken tires (because they were $600 and they are brand new in EXCELLENT condition), OR just say F*CK IT, and get some 20"s with a 225/35/20. I want to...

Awesome, now I just need to find another switch. I had to use mine for a buddy of mine. We wired his horn to my on-off switch rather than the stock momentary switch, so when people cut him off he just follows them with the horn blaring.

Its pretty easy after u take all that stuff off. I would start with the fenders, there easy to take off. Then everything in the front as u done. check if the bottom part of ur radiator support in bent, if it is u may need to change the bottom motor support. Check cragslist there may be a altima that being partd out, also check cretifit.com some of there parts are cheap. And i didnt weld my radiator support back on either some the same reasons...

Low idle while in drive, its not...

The rpm change while turning the power steering is normal behavior. The ECU senses the power steering pressure switch and ramps up the idle in anticipation of a turn that would increase the engine load. You can test this by unplugging the power steering pressure switch. The combination of poor gas mileage and rough engine idle tells me you are running quite rich. The spark plugs should show that. I would troubleshoot the problem as if it were...

I could be completely wrong, but I have never EVER heard of some shit like that.
Where the hell would the sensor even be at? I work at Autozone and I'm picturing all the oil filters I've come across, and they all are basically the same thing. Sometimes they can look like mini air filters (rarely), but most of the time they look like this:

The fuel light comes on when 3 gallons are left in the tank, this is a FACT.
The biggest fillup i've done was just shy of 15 gallons total.
Usually I assume 22MPG (my lowest average MPG rating) multiply by 3 which equals 66miles.
So you can bet on at least 70+ miles (probably a lot more because you are stick) before running out of gas.

Wow man. I don't really think there is much you can do honestly. I mean you can try remounting, but that is going to be a pain in the ass and probably more trouble than it is worth.
I'm 6'1 man, and I'm perfectly fine in the 2nd gen.
Although, I gangsta lean the shit of the seat so I am comfortable, but its fine when you recline.
Are you sitting up like a old man or something?...

jserrano has a driver side airbag for sale i believe. or you can probly get some unused ones from a junkyard and install them. i would be embarrassed to drive around with a car that had used airbags that were cut away. not to mention if you get into an actual wreck and don't have airbags to protect you.

Its a joke bro.
It's held in with like 4 push clips that are mounted on the actual piece itself.
Start from the front of the sill near the kick panel, get you fingers underneath of it where it meets the carpet, and pull upward on a slant, kinda towards youself.
It will pop right up. Might fight you a little bit the first time, but it will come up with a little umpph. And just ...

Nobody can help me?? All I want to know did the 2000 Altima have a factory keyless remote system and if so, what does it look like (is there an antenna in the upper driver side windshield??).........
I fixed my key problem. I took the transponder out of my factory key, removed the wire loops that picks up the signal from around the ignition, and mated them together up under the dash....

Aside from the EVAP problems all those other symptoms combined tells me that there is still some issue remaining with the charging system. Its possible that the alternator is not kicking in when you first go to start the engine. With the ignition key to the ON position, does the battery charge bulb in the instrument panel lights up before you start the engine? If that bulb is lit then need to ...

Now this is just personal preference, but for spark plugs I use NGK V Power. I don't run synthetic oil in my car, but I use Shell 5w 30 and the Altima runs great. If you're not sure, your spark plug gapping should be 0.43-0.44. Hope this helps, I'm sure some guys running synthetic oil will have a few suggestions for brands.

You didn't specify between the model years you're looking at. At any rate, the dropping resistor are all electrically the same (11.2 - 12.8 ohms) and are all wired in the same way to the line pressure solenoid valve. Only the terminal connectors might be different.

You can just take that bolt to a place like Home Depot, Lowes, Local hardware store, etc. and find one close to it with the same threading. Shouldn't be to hard to find.
I've replaced a couple stock bolts by matching up in hardware stores and all that, and I usually find one that is damn close if not identical.
Is the bolt still broken off in the hole?
