Engine Heater
Published (2009-11-29 15:20:00)
well, i looked into this for someone with an Xterre, just called yesterday for the parts. i called the dealer and the part numbers are confirmed for the heater is 110016P700 p/n for the cord is 24076EC300. There is no stock in my province but they are available in Calgary. I was quoted $59.94 for the heater and $60.01 for the cord. Hope that helps and i think thats weak that your truck didnt come with it. wonder what year nissan stopped doing...

That's pretty retarded of the RFID ( I think ) system to loose it's memory after power-loss. Why not have it store on a ROM instead of what seams to be a RAM ? Lame.

Extended Warranty And Lifts
Published (2009-11-29 17:22:00)
As far as the warranty is concerned, yes I think you will have issues. You've replaced UCA's, coils, and struts so the majority of the suspension components are not oem. Now, you could take it in and have the dealer look at it and they may be able to narrow it down to a specific part, but as far as replacement good luck. I would check torque specs first.

Don't think Nissan puts a code anywhere.... I'd phone your local dealer maybe. We either just get a new wheel that comes painted or we dump+pour to match (not like it's a butt match or anything).
Or just spray bomb it silver and if it's too far off, paint the one on the same side. Nobody can look at both sides at once.

but the part number is: 999Q5-KU002
*the last number will vary for different colors, this is the one for the steel (gray) interior. I think there is a 999Q5-KU001 as well. but they are the same thing just different colors.

I assume the noise only does it one time when you first start the truck and drive it? If thats what it is there is nothing to sweat.
Now if it does it every time when starting off from a stop its something else.
You didnt specify in your original post so I think everyone assumes it does it 1x during your drive until you shut the truck off and drive again?
I had an Acura RL that ...

not bad but if you are to heavy on the gas your back end goes side ways do
to the lack of weight. I live in a part of oregon that dosen't get much
snow but when we do we don't have the stuff to clear the roads the last
snow we got i was able to spend most of the time in 2wd. the only real
problem is the lack of weight in the back. I do pretty good because i have

I've had my NISMO since November 06. I am and always will be a die hard Jeep fan and came from a 89 Cherokee w\3in lift and 31in mud tires. I waited a long time to see if Jeep would ever come out with the Gladiator concept but it always got pushed back.
I needed a truck but not a full size so I did what a lot of guys did and test drove all the midsizes that met my requirements.
