Eh, not exactly. You won't magically bottom out any more often in hard cornering. Remember, the shorter spring is, most of the time, also stiffer, thereby making it harder to compress. So while there is less suspension travel, the aftermarket suspension will also tend to travel less in the same conditions. Hi everyone, this is my second post based upon "huge Idle Problem" right below couple days ago. I have ran in to couple problems just about couple weeks ago regarding idling. Since than, I couldn't figure out what the problem was, so took it to the shop and did a diagnostics. I've finally paid for 90 dollars to do the diagnostics. What are you considering a roll bar? Now remember the spec v has the rear tower bar in the trunk, and I built a strut bar for the front. I may do one of the mid chassis bar setups, behind the front seats. (can't think of the names of em) I'm thinking of getting wider tires, and I'll be lowering the car soon. It performs well, I'll just be pushing it harder and harder and will need to be upgrading stuff.

Another member posted about the crank sensor. This would have been my first part checked. Its located on the back of the engine (near the cabin), low on the block. Those are prone to leak oil through the sensor and disturb the signal.
