What happened the next time you fired it up cold? After a long battery disconnect, the ECU forgets the fine tuning for your engine and has to relearn it.

korbeanu, yeah that sounds like the torque converter locking and unlocking. drive up that hill with O/D off (the little button on the shifter) because then the torque converter will stay locked, see if that makes any difference you can even play with that button, turning od on and off, and you will then know if its the torque converter or not...

This all started after I...

to attach a pic, first you need to host it somewhere, image shack, photobucket, or what ever. then, once its hosted, you need to cut and paste the url in between this and it will pop up in the threads the way you want it. if you need help, email me, it gets addicting once you learn how.

What are the exact codes? Google them here. NisTech wrote a nice write up of the Intake Valve Timing Problems. I've had them off and on for about three years. The truck still runs good, and I've learned that keeping the revs above 2500, esp' on hills, keeps the light out. Also, think about going to a heavier oil (10W-40 instead of 5W-30). The solenoids use oil pressure for power, and as ...

yeah you will lose your high beans like that. A lot of people who go that route either doesn't use their high beams often or don't care about functionality. Just looks. If you want to go cheap there are kits that move the beam in your headlight housings to aim the beam higher.

Welcome to the forum! When i got my H4's installed i had the same problem. It's cause that we have a daylight running light system , that wont lets us have the hids for daylight/high beam. I got my professional done so i have now clue about wiring. My headlights don't work during the day instead my fogs are on and my hids work when i turn it on and i have no high beams

LEDs do NOT pull more current than a halogen bulb. whomever said that is an idiot. anyway, it's common to blow fuses when you're working electrical, because as you disconnect/reconnect components you create arc shorts which can burn a low-amp fuse. in situations like this, always check your fuses. and for the record, i've replaced my interior lamps with LEDs and it's possibly the most practical...
