got my pio pio fix last night for the first time tried the original Northern Blvd location in Jackson Heights.. Loved it!!! to start off we had causa del pollo - chicken and avocado salad sandwiched in a polenta cake. served cold, so refreshing fried calamari - never would imagine pio pio would even have this dish, but one of the best i have ever had. tostones with ...

ok i had this rosemary roll yesterday.... and i wish i had a dozen of them so today i took a plain roll and sprinkled rosemary all over it. i think i created a rosemary bread monster bc it's all i wanna friggin eat. any other flavors of herbs i can douse my bread with?

So my girlfriend and I aren't the best cooks in the world but every once and a while we'll pick a night where we try out a real recipe. I found a pretty good website that had tons of different things to try. We went with Figs w/ Prosciutto & Mascarpone cheese on baguettes for an appetizer. For the main dish we had Creamy Goat Cheese Pasta w/ Zucchini & Sausage. Both of them came out excellent ...

I'm eating a Country Style Beef Steak w/ caramelized onions cooked w. rosemary, side of Sweet Potato mash, seasoned green string beans & Clam & corn soup cooked in a creamy chicken stock < sounds weird but really good.

Anyone have any recommendations for nice restaurants in either South or East Hampton. Money is not an issue but definitely want trendy, people watching type of place. As for type of cuisine, open there too but of course want good food. Basically the restaurants to be at. Thanks in advance.
