hey, u dont have to tell me the most recent film incarnation of The Count of Monte Cristo is one of my favorite movies. i know all about it and i fully agree but you said that you're pursuing it at every turn! my son, i was once as you are now. but its true what they say, you gotta pick your battles. 

I dont think thats what the writers of that line, mean. Especially when you consider the writers of that book hahaa 

That isn't heartless - just a fact for allot of ppl after a relationship is done. 

Idi Amin is a perfect example of how simple, stupid brutality, can tip the scales dramatically. He wasn't smart, but that didn't stop him from being a cruel tyrant for a time simply because he was so ruthless and brutal. He went back to the fucking basics when it came to torture. Genital mutilation and gladiatorial combat with sledgehammers. Still worked. 

i've only managed to stay friends with one exboyfriend, and not wanted to wring the neck of another. i don't usually think that "staying friends" is a good idea. especially if the person really hurt you. 

its the truth, say it. 

If the phone is rightfully yours then you have the right to get it. You have weight your options: is it worth it? To me it doesn't seem worth it. I would let her a keep the phone as a token and just move on and cut all contact. Staying in contact and getting into whatever you guys get into proves to be stressful, emotional, violent, and silly. In my view, it's not worth it.
