Recruiting Jacoby
Published (2009-11-12 23:03:00)
If you did not recruit him early enough, then Jacoby is lost to you as a part of the plot does mention the loss of Ft. Locke. There may be a console script that will work, but I have no clue as to what it is.

Missing NPCs
Published (2009-11-07 04:23:00)
Ah... I had 3 files. The main file, the auto save and the quick save. All 3 of them do the same thing, other than that, no I don't have any other save files. The auto save was in a different place than the other two, and it does the same thing. =/ Interesting thing though, I exported my character and tried restarting the game, but I think there is something off with it... The monsters don't attack my party; they just kind of stand...

Hey Fornold, I sent you an email, but it looks like the save you sent along was actually corrupted somehow. Mind trying again? (Or anyone else?) _________________ Matthew Rorie Marketing/PR Producer, Obsidian Entertainment

warlock eldritch doom
Published (2009-11-11 03:21:00)
Ok I found out what was wrong. When I went to select say eldritch doom and the fire essence to put on my quickbar, it wasn't working when I picked it from under the eldritch doom quick spell area. But when I picked the same spell under the category of the fire essence, it works just fine. I found it out by accident because I used chain shape through the chain shape category to use it in acid form, it only did magical damage. Therefore,...

Mathew, I really appreciate you guys showing us this kind of support. I cannot supply you with a save game, for this happens before I can even load the campaign. I can't save a game that hasn't started. _________________ Help is good when asked for. Better when needed. Gaming Parents Studios Click Here

Quote: Posted 11/09/09 21:24 (GMT) by Matthew Rorie Hey guys, Here's what our programmer said: "Would it be possible for one of the people reporting in that thread to provide us with a module or save game where they are experiencing the problem? That error really should only come up if the game is unable to load the module.ifo file contained within a module… which would suggest that either the file is missing or...

yea your system specs are much better than mine, I can't help but think we may have a similar problem, but your machine just lasts longer than mine before the dump. I wrote to Obsidian about this, but as of yet have received no word regarding what they think. Wish I could be more help. I used to loooove the toolset, being without it is a huge blow to my love for nwn2

First of all check if your antivirus hasn't quarantined any NWN2 files. Try playing for awhile with all antimalware apps off. Checking your system for malware wouldn't hurt either... Try changing some graphic settings in your game too (resolution, etc) and see if this issue persists. Edited By UltimaThule on 11/11/09 20:29

It doesnt. So is this just how it is, 3 years later and the game is a giant buggy mess that no one has a solution for? I mean being able to walk without your character spazzing out is the MOST basic of features, Im not looking for a cure to something obscure here... and I think 2 xpacs later its time for this to work.

I have tried to install under Windows 7 64 and it fails. Your CD Key is invalid. I install under 32bit Vista and it works fine. Does Obsidian have a fix for this or what can we do?

I get the same, not every ten minutes, but often enough to be annoying especially in the middle of server events. . . How can I prevent this?
