can cystitis cause missed period??

No, cystitis can't cause you to miss a period. I'd do a pregnancy test just to be sure.

Sudden groth - i look pregnant
Published (2009-11-26 23:31:00)
Could be something you've eaten? Alot of people react differently to certain foods which can make them bloat, like bread, garlic, certain veg... Could that be an option? Also, I know that my boyfriend had constant bloating for a long time and when he got it checked out they found that he had Polyps and once removed the bloating went down considerably. Probably best to go to the doctors though if your periods are playing up.

Please help if u can...

I am writing again and found out yesterday that I am pregnant. I took a test at home. My doctors have done all of the tests above and still didn't see that I was pregnant....How is that possible? Anyways I still have this embolism and will see a doctor this week about it, but read on the internet that embolisms near the reproductive organs can effect the development of a fetus. Is this the reason for my pain in the abdomen?? If anyone...

Hi alicia, was the most recent pregnancy test you took last week also negative? i'm not a doctor but I would just say that there are lots of different pills about, different pills can also affect different people in different ways, so if you are not sure it would be best to go and see your doctor, they will be able to double check that you are not pregnant and maybe they will recommend a different pill for you. good luck x

Oh thank you very much for your mail. Out of all the people who have viewed, you're the only one to have answered! The pain has subsided a bit today, I'm still too scared to check out the string! ha!!

Abnormal smear test results...
Published (2009-11-26 20:40:00)
Thank you for the reply. I was hoping to hear from someone who had been through the same thing. I guess I am just concerned because I was told that after the treatment it was likely that my next smear test would be normal so when it wasn't I had a bit of a panic! My mind became a bit over active and I started thinking that it must mean I am destined to get cervical cancer as I had another abnormal result.

Nevermind, I sorted the problem out myself - silly me, here I was thinking I could get some advice from a forum but this one along with others are all just a waste of time.

Practically No Sex Drive......
Published (2009-11-30 22:15:00)
I am so sorry to hear that you feel like this ! But i too am exactly the same, i would LOVE to have that feeling of being really turned on and wanting my man, but no matter what i just can't. Exactly the same as you, we have to use lubricants but the tightness of my vagina makes it not very nice for me, and painful afterwards. Again, i also hate being fingered due to the same sensations, of feeling scratched inside and dryly prodded....

Hi Cinderbelle, i'm in the same shoes with you. Also not seen my period for about 11months after coming off the pill, been to the doctors several times and they keep saying everything is fine, though my scan revealed that my ovaries were multicystic. I haven't experienced the spotting you are experiencing, but i guess its a sign of your period returning. Please can you let me know what the ...

This isn't that unusual, I had exactly the same experience. It doesn't mean that you have cervical cancer, they wouldn't call that minor abnormalities. It means that your body still hasn't dealt with the HPV infection that is causing your cells to change. It will do though, probably sooner rather than later. I had to have two sets of treatment, but ever since then all my smears have been ...

Hi, I had the mirena coil fitted 6 months ago due to heavy bleeding. Insertion was painful but with a basic pain killer like paracetamol for 2 days, I felt fine. In the first month I bleed for about 2 weeks non-stop and was quite concerned. However at the 3rd month, the coil had settled in and my periods are now very light. I used to use heavy flow pads and heavy flow tampons with several ...

hi, i'm not a doctor but i had an abnormal smear test once before too and it turned out to be nothing, the following test was normal again, i would just say it does happen sometimes and it is probably nothing to worry about. the symptoms your girlfriend is having could be any number of different reasons, most of which are not serious, so I know it's hard but please try not to worry, the best ...
