Hehe, we'll be fat and spotty together Caz - my skin was always commented on for how clear it was and now it's lumpy, bumpy, oily and horrible (the bags under my eyes don't help to make that look any better but I just can't sleep - restless legs and like you I can't lay on my side for very long so I'm rolling over onto each side all night. Hubby's grown so used to it that he can sleep through it now - lucky...

Hi Cassie I'm so sorry that you are going through this difficult spell with your husband. I would agree with Cazabeth that trying to find a way to make your relationship work would be better than throwing in the towel at this point, especially as you are expecting again and will need all the help you can get. Your husband had no right to say those awful things to you and to upset you when you are already in a delicate situation....

Missed period

Hey hun!! As per the lovely people on here, it has taken up to 6 weeks to get a postive result. I also had not put on or lost any weight. I handed my sample into the doctor yesterday and they sent it away and I got a positive result back today. Just get yourself into the docs asap. I have worked out I am 6 weeks into my pregnancy cycle, but the test I did on Sunday had a very very faint blue line so you may be like a couple of us and have low...

Hiya, I take my hubby along to all my appointments. He had a hand in creating this life so he can do all this stuff too lol makes him feel more included too and I then don't have to repeat everything the midwife says. Take him along - won't do him any harm! Good luck for the scan 7th xxx

Wow, 2 and 1/2 wks, how did u cope? I felt so bloated and full over Christmas, I'm sure my skin stretching wasn't just the baby growing, hehe. I'm glad u found ur class, sounds great. My iron tablets must be kicking in as I was really up for our weekly walk today (although out of breath by the time I got to the top of a slight incline, ) Don't worry about being fit enough, u will be, its just the hormones playing games...

Baby was very well behaved - apparently lying a perfect position for the sonographer to be able to do all the needed checks & tests so that was great. Hi there. I'm really lucky as in my area there are a number of pregnancy yoga groups but it is usually a case of putting your name down on a waiting list. They cost a fortune and like you say all the things you need to take with you carries a healthe and safety risk in itself!! I have a friend who is a qualified yoga instructor and she recommended a DVD which she is using by a lady called Shiva Rea and it costs about £5 off amazon. She...

Oh babe, I do feel for you and i also understand how you must be feeling.
Can i ask, do you think that making it work with your OH is worth it for your children's sake?
I am not sure what others would feel about your story on here but i do know that personally i would do everything possible to make it work for the sake of our family. As its not just "us" that we are hurting, its ...

have you been under a lot of stress or truama recently because i found that effected my period even though i was always on time as a rule, if you feel uncertain tho contact your gp and get a test there, you might feel more at ease with the doctors results x

Hi smiley
What a busy day you have tomorrow! I took my OH along to my booking in appointment and I'm gald I did as the midwife asked lots of questions about both our health back grounds and I wouldn't have known the answers to his family health history. My OH came to most of my appointments with the midwife which was useful as all my questions would go out of my head once I was there and ...

Heya,
My best friend used a TENS machine hired from Boots for her labour (nearly four months ago now, wow, that's gone quick!) and she won't stop going on about how I should definitely hire one out for when my turn comes around in June. She popped him out in four hours (just under), was able to have an active birth with the TENS machine strapped on and keeps saying how easy it was (I'll ...

Hi laura
I've just given birth too, almost 2 weeks ago and am still bleeding quite a bit. Sometimes really heavy, sometimes not a lot and have also passed a lot of clots. Changing a pad every 20 mins does sound really heavy, is there any chance you could give your midwife a ring? Or does your hospital have a 24 hour number where you could just get some advice from the maternity unit? It ...
