hi u need to post on the main page for the depression forum but dont worry hun it just means that you get more replies as people see it. my advice would be to go to the gp and explain how you feel you could print what you posted on here off and give it to them, how old are you? hayles

trash. dirty trash. thats all i am. no amount of alcohol or s/h ever changes that. im so tired tonight, feel so caught up in so many bad memories. want to wipe them out. i cant even speak the words coz she will know and no-one believes a liar with a vivid imaghination .. they take you away. Hi smiley09, I think it would be a good idea to keep your appointment with your gp. The feelings you describe does sound like your suffering from depression but i'm not a doctor. If you don't know what to say to your gp about things, just say what you posted on n.d & take it from there. I'm sure you gp will be more than understanding. well this guy i hear and see he is called michael, i have heard him for a year and a half now since april last year. hi im laura that wasnt very helpful of your doctor to say that i used to complain about my gp all the time but then i moved surgerys but they were horrible back under my old gp now cant they refer you for counselling if you are feeling suicidal the samaritans are very good you can phone them or email them and of course we are all here aswell

hi im also on citalopram have been on them for about 6 weeks now .... i take mine in the morning as i find now they wake me up my daughters boyfriend is also on them but he takes hes at night as he says they help him sleep the side affects differ from person to person and they do subside after a while the only side affect i have now is the shakes
