i would look into a zune HD it comes with about 20 presets plus you can download a app that gives you very indepth Eq they are a little less then an ipod for a much better product

I did something like this once; but it involved the use of a hammer and a power drill. Good read though.

COWON S9 IS FULL OF EPICNESS AND WINZORZ It's a touch screen PMP (personal media player) that supports many music and video codecs (including flac) with something like 24 preset options and four custom settings.
