LOL You know, I read a story about how these things have been made. Apparently back then, the secret ones, still had powers that they have lost these days. Apparently they were able to reduce gravity in a certian area to make something almost seem weightless. Not sure if they used a machine or thought, I believe thought but wouldn't know this. But it does answer questions. It makes more sense than ropes and pullies.

Well, when i visit a re-constructed site, i think that it was more difficult to re-construct, than for the original Builders. Sort of like putting together a 3-D jigsaw puzzle, when you think about it. i'm not familiar with this site, but i understand that some of the sites in South America have stone-work so precise, one cannot slip a piece of paper between the stones!! Thnaks - R.. AMA PS Ottter(B) - it...

Creatures Inhabit Deep Oceans Report Details Species Some 18,000 Species Living Far Below the Reach of Sunlight The creatures living in the depths of the ocean are as weird and outlandish as the creations in a Dr. Seuss book: tentacled transparent sea cucumbers, primitive "dumbos" that flap ear-like fins, and tubeworms that feed on oil deposits. A report released Sunday recorded 17,650 species living below 656 feet, the point where...

Noserose #1 " Like it or not we are the guardians of our planet. " . Oh? And how is THAT working out? If I recall, I read of those same sentiments years ago in an obscure little book (maybe you've heard of it) called 'Genesis', didn't I? Yep! Sure did. . The Doctrine of Dominionism is pernicious as All Hell; it permeates Western thought, it supersedes all...

Hi Otter, I didn't get to see many of these since it was partially overcast here... Remembering back to the 60's when a teen with my first car at the drive in theater, Hot August night and every Summer about that time one of the greatest displays I can recall, I love watching the meteors and at times bounce my high frequency ham radio waves off of the ionized trails they leave on entry making ...

THE breezy title of this book conceals the authors' ambition. To get at the origins of E = mc 2 , the poster-child for Einstein's special theory of relativity , they must delve into deep principles of science and wield a good deal of mathematics. They do it well, aside from a few too many digressions and an over-optimistic attitude that "you will have a go with the maths even if ...

Rose(F) posts: " Hmmm.......should I kill it or have sex with it?"
berto thinks to self: hmm, it would depend upon whether or not one was into necrophilia. (bearing in mind, of course, that microwave ovens weren't invented yet.. )
