nope was ?10000 total (the NotW reporter had ?10K on him). I'm really struggling to find anything wrong with what he did. It's Chelsea's ground, Terry didn't benefit from it, a charity would have been ?8k better off. News of the World should be banned from attending any England press conferences for this kind of reporting. Newspapers should report the news, not make the news. Anyone with half a brain would know that ?10,000...

I was thinking the other day whether it would be better for Gerrard to pass on the Captina's armband. Maybe Pepe should get it.

So many incorrect decisions, it's comical. I don't care if it slows down the game (and I think in most cases it'd make very little difference) video technology has to be used to get these calls right.

Speaking of video replays, when is Blatter's "leadership" up for renewal again?

I think you can just write that one off as 'one of those days'. It was actually a back three he was playing, you've so few fit players at the moment. You should have a semblance of a back four available for your next game on the 27th though.

You're not the only Chelsea-fan here, abigsmurf. I was at the bridge when we played Birmingham, and I thought we played very well, but our defence was a bit shaky. The shaky bit wasn't gone against Reading, and we overall had a crap first half as well, but second half was great, and José made some good, though "scary" changes to our team. But even though he gambled a lot at the back,...

The only plus point from the defeat on Sunday was how well Owen Hargreaves played, he will be crucial when it comes to the Champions League and also the big games (against Chelsea, Liverpool & Arsenal) in the Premiership. He is that Gattuso type player (not saying that he is Gattuso) that we have been missing in midfield. For instance if he played against Milan last season I think the spaces ...

Gutted, I sometimes wonder if the some of the Sheffield Wednesday players are aware that our rivals are in the same league as us and any below par performances like that mean grief for us. Still, we now have the chance to take our anger out on a feeble Rotherham side in the cup next week.

I agree, good performance today and we definitely deserved a point. It's a shame we didn't have someone like Berbatov or Keane on the end of the move when Rocha put that close range header wide in the second half. A penalty would have been nice too but it's hard enough getting clear cut penalties at OT let alone ones which are open to debate. Glad to hear Fergie after the match saying that...

Nice to see points dropped all over, from the neutral standpoint. It would be nice if it went close to the wire.
