F**k me that was class! Is the rest of the film as 'good'? And wasn't that the guy from The Warriors? __________________ Don't look at me, I'm irrelevant.

Village of the Giants - very much a 60's era movie. Most notable for the very long, slightly trippy slow motion giant (literally) grove sequence in the middle of the film featuring the very nice to look at Joy Harmon (who was also the car wash girl in Cool Hand Luke)

The cast are extremely irritating; especially Mellisa George who never fails to annoy me. I like the original films from the 70s & 80s. #2 is especially chilling.

I've always wished they'd make a movie showing the Terminators take over, their attempt to wipe out humanity and the subsequent fightback. Those flashbacks and the tales Reese told in the 1st film really had me enthralled. It looked so scary, oppressive and hopeless.
This film sounds like it might actually tell that story instead of following the same formula of the other films.

My disturbingly-quickly-growing list In my defence though, I'm only buying a HD movie if:
a, I don't already own it on DVD (Die Hard, Casino Royale, Fantastic Four: ROTSS etc)
b, I do, but it's a dreadful DVD or it's censored/edited ( Starship Troopers, for example, or Face Off)
c, It's absolutely one of my favourite films, and I want the best version of it (Terminator 2, Batman Begins, ...

I think that toooo ! Generally it was good, but they seemed to show a lot in the first episode though !? The start reminded me of Lost. Just a shame they didn't have a bigger budget for a more epic start. Funny seeing Penny from Lost in this, Joesph Fiennes too. It'll be interesting what the next couple of episodes bring...
