That's it. I'm not saying that NTSC is a bad place, as it isn't, but let's face it, the needs for a hardcore import gaming forum are long gone nowadays. Sure you'll get gems that will never appear over here (I for one lust after every 360 shooter that gets released) but a lot of publishers are getting far much better than they ever used to.

I've been playing Mirror's Edge this evening, well glad I bought it actually, I've been enjoying it loads. Such a refreshing game to play next to a lot of what's out there. It uses a modified version of Unreal Engine 3, so it was always going to be a good port, though I know what you mean about the menus feeling like a console port, slightly sluggish mouse cursor for one thing. Also, the game seems to run in 19:6 even if...

I thought the PSN version was extremely annoying. You pretty much had to drive a certain way in order to actually win. Considering it's supposed to be "free-roaming" with multiple routes etc I didn't really get that. I'd imagine it'd suit the PSP perfectly however. I shall more than likely pick it up.

Looking forward to getting back into to the time trials actually, which is where the game should shine.

Two new characters revealed in the latest Famitsu, one female, one male (can't read their names). Also looks like there'll be anime cutscenes this time from Xebec (euch, they've a habbit of butchering franchises)

Quite enjoyed the first one although it was heavily flawed. Hope they address the issues that spoilt the first one a bit (incredibly long, boring boss battles towards the end, frustrating cancelling, unlimited item use every turn making the game trivial). The combo animations managed to never get old though.

Old Shacknews is reporting this........ "Dragon Age RPG franchise will eventually extend its reach to consoles following its PC debut next year, the developer has revealed" It doesnt EXACTLY says Dragon Age: Origins its says franchise. SOOOOO maybe they are gonna do a console specific version and a seperate PC version, 2 different game set around the same Age of Dragons.

That screenshots link doesn't work for me... Sounds interesting with the new characters and all, I'm not really bothered about the story as the original one was a bit of a garbled mess (I did like the way they accounted for the different endings per character though)... although possibly that's cos they always planned on milking it further. I'll probably get myself down the ...

Similar titles though have only ever been NTSC-J only titles, I wouldnt have minded playing them myself and im sure other people would have as well, these one will be the same no doubt....
