Low boost help

Maybe Jo-tec has a "heart-breaker" dyno not a "feel-good". Probably a Mustang ? I am going to do a pull on a similar Dyno soon with a NA 91 and so can compare #'s. In the end its acceleration times that really matter not "adjustable" HP #'s. Boost pressures look good; about 6.1 Max PSI indicated.

Can engine oil enter the...

Oil is most likely coming from the Turbo. if it fouls all the Plugs. Some turbos don't like a lot of oil pressure especially Ball bearing turbos. The NSX has high oil pressure. I have to run 2 oil restrictors to reduce the oil to the Turbo otherwise it just fills the plenum up with oil. Also make sure your drain from the turbo is not restricted as this can cause the same problem.

Adjusting Boost
Published (2009-11-08 01:14:00)
it calls boost controller, it controlls wastegate when to open to relieve pressure. Only can add more boost not subtract . Let say you have 3 psi spring in you wastegate that's your lowest boost you can go

Some people are running more HP on stock internals but it seems that most are running around 400-450 rwhp on a stock motor.

Are you running an Aftermarket ECU? yes you can remove it if so. It will throw a CEL if you remove it with an OEM ECU. You can make some blanking plates or buy them from SOS. No need to weld anything

I have always had good experiences with them and believe they are a solid, legitimate shop. I think the problem is that they likely rely on other suppliers and companies to deliver product they need to fulfill their orders, and when there is a delay, there isn't anything they can do. I once needed a set of adapter pipes for comptech headers and it took almost a month to get them. It wasn't that ...

400RWHP you can hit, can you do it 'reliably' nobody really knows. Do a before leakdown test and a leakdown test after 100K miles and then you'll know. Me I run 375RWPH and it's "just fine." IOW, it feels and runs great, but underneath no one 'really' knows.

The CTSC was a factory option at one point, so I would think that would be the way to go for you. Its linear in power and I havent heard any problems with them. However nothing beats a Turbo though and so far the Lovefab hasn't had any problems or people complaining about it.....at least not that I know of.

I can soon answer this question for you.. I was Low boost CTSC and am now going the turbo route. I was more than happy with the CTSC, I am only switching because my shop has never done a turbo NSX and i want to be confident in doing so. I will post a thread with my opinions as soon as it is complete
