Not private waters but not that heavily fished. The second fish was a hog but the first put up a better fight...go figure. I have made friends with a couple that own the property directly below a private trophy club not far from where we have a place. Can't wait to fish it!

Ended up driving up to Slyva late this past Tuesday night and stayed with NCBoy. Tied up a few flies and shot the $hit for a few before passing out fairly early. Got up really early to beat the crowds and after a few stops and breakfast we were on the water by 7. We pretty much had the entire place to ourselves. Fished from the School back down to the bridge and I think we ran into 1 or 2 other folks the entire day. Morning was a little cool,...

Did you get a chance to fish the water between the holes? I fished there shortly after they opened up the trophy section and you could see most of the fish gathering in the obvious holes. I'm wondering if they have spread out into the faster water?
