Sparkle 7600 GS Overclock
Published (2009-12-13 04:55:00)

Now, the weird thing - besides the memory being severely underclocked - is that when I tried to overclock the core, it only goes up to 440MHZ. Anything after that and it bombs me with artifacts. However, the memory can go up 450MHZ (900DDR). I've seen reviews on the GS and the core can easily go above...

lol wow bro wtf you doing with that old shit? I thought I'm the only one with a 7600 in the world...at least mine's a GT Yeah I noticed that too you can always amp up the memory a lot more than the core. I mean think about the tasks of the core versus the task of the memory. Of course the memory will be able to stand more, it's doing a lot less processing.

Windows 7 * Better at synthetic benchmarks. * Faster transfer of large files. * Final version likely to improve. * Suspend/resume works! * Desktop search is well implemented and can go online. * Media libraries can be pinned to the start menu and task bar. * Jump lists can genuinely help improve efficiency. * Starter: No Aero and no 64-bit. * Home Basic: Developed for emerging markets. * Home Premium: Standard edition including Aero and touch....

Ignoring the HD video thing, and if you want to avoid big and heavy cameras, ie DSLRs or the big zoom cameras, then I'd recommend the Canon S90 IS . I hear very good things about it. Interesting review of it here .
