Well Z has said it's priority to sign Felix long term so i'm sure he will spend 20m a year but not even close to 30m I would guess like 6/150 maybe at most.

Quote: The blockbuster deal that brought Roy Halladay to Philadelphia was contingent on the former Cy Young Award winner signing a contract extension with the Phillies. Halladay agreed to a three-year, $60 million deal, but a reported $20 million option for 2014 is no guarantee. The Philly Daily News reports today that the option year will be vested only if Halladay pitches a combined 415 innings in 2012 and 2013, including at least 225...

10pm - 261. Seattle Mariners (animaltested) 11pm - 262. Texas Rangers (DalCowboyzRule) 12am - 263. Atlanta Braves (chipperboy1) If these next two pick before 12am, can I make my selection early or should I wait for the owners who haven't made up their picks yet?

rams , I just wanted to reply to your little bit about Granderson's low BABIP last year. Here's what I could find that could show why his BABIP was down so much:
-FB% up 6% from career, GB% down 7% from career. Ground balls have a higher BABIP than flyballs do. (On a note unrelated to BABIP, he did see his HR totals go up, because he had the same HR/FB as in the past, but he lost...

To bad he missed those 5 starts earlier in the year, he'd already have 15, 16 maybe even 17 wins.
I would rank him in the top 4 now. Carp is doing very good in the stats the voters look at. I don't know if the voters actually look at the advanced stats, highly doubtful ...

As we were discussing, we'd be stupid not to explore the Holliday possibilities. We need a bat to compliment Chip and B-Mac, and I would prefer that bat to be a right handed one, or switch if possible. I just don't want to sell the farm to get him. We'd be stupid not to deal for him, so long as we don't have to give up the young guns, or IMO Escobar. _________________

Roy Halladay and his agent have checked into a Philadelphia hotel, according to a report by the Philadelphia Inquirer.
The paper could not ascertain if a deal was imminent, but the Phillies have long been one of the front runners to land Halladay. His presence in the area could indicate that the Blue Jays and Phillies have progressed far enough in trade negotiations that Halladay is ...

The Packers' forum is on it's 14th 'This Ain't Packers Talk' thread.
BTW, I'll be going to all three games of the Yanks/M's series in September. Very excited already. I saw Joba/Fister and French/Mitre this last series, I'm hoping for a Felix vs. Sabathia/Burnett pitchers duel, or a Pettite/RRS lefty duel. RRS has very similar mechanics as Pettite, it's pretty uncanny.

Matsui isn't really that great of a signing. Angels have been a big dud in this offseason so far. Not sure what they can do besides sign Sheets, though.

Remarkable, Jacky-Z strikes again. Great deal for the mariners, its amazing they were able to trade Silva for anybody. He was the worst pitcher in the AL last year and I don't see him turning it around in the NL. He is complete garbage.
