I think they have lived there before, but moved around a bit because of Eric's jobs. The Taylor's definitely moved (back) to Dillon for the Coaching position at Dillon High School.

Zack Gilford was amazing in the episode where Matts dad died. Can we say Emmy?? Season 4 is realllllly good. I have laughed and cried so much this season. Tim Riggins is absolutely my favorite character. I want more of Minka Kelly! I love TIM&LYLA!

Just one more thing. I teach college freshmen in Georgia, and even they, for the most part, look like they're just out of diapers. They certainly don't look like the kids in FNL, and so many of them talk about their church groups and stuff and wear their WWJD bracelets and crucifix necklaces. Of course there are people who behave like the ones in FNL, but there are also the moral, the wholesome ones. Where are they on the show? At...

I've been rewatching season 1. I had the idea that they had moved there when Eric took the job as head coach at Dillon, but in the first episode when the media is interviewing Eric and Jason, Jason mentions how Eric has been with him through peewee football, or at least JV. Buddy Garrity also says something at the dealership opening about how they've known each other since he was just a salesman and Eric was assistant coach, which...
