How long has it been like this? What does it look like. I've always caught mine early and the joint was not dry and I got away with just a boot replacements for about $30 bucks in parts and an hour of my time.
If the joint is all
dray and dirty, you can try just fixing the boot, but it's probably pretty worn already.

Can you swap the clutch? I know the 06-07's were push style whereas the 02-05's were pull style. Are the 08-10's push or pull. You'll need to verify that.
EDIT: ACT is showing the same unit from 06-09 so I'm guess ing it's a push style also. I know this doesn't answer your question, but it's
something to consider when costing everything.
