i am in need of a 4x4 and am looking around, i found another closer where i live, its a 1999 with the same body style as the 1998. Its a silverado with the vortec 350, it has 108000 miles and looks flawless, (LOOKS flawless over the internet). is there anything wrong with the 1999’s.

they did update the stepper motor in the speedometer the old style used a plastic gear with a reducer gear to the needle and now the the new one from the dealer is a motor attatched directly to the needle.

for the most part they are pretty dependable vehicles............look for one with hand operated window cranks and door locks..............the hand operated shit never fails..........

Yeah, i backed into a tree once plowing with my dads 85. I jumped out of the truck terrified i dented or broke something the truck was fine but there was a good section on the tree where the bark was all fucked up. lol I love that truck :D

To start my dad and I have a 69 chevy choptop truck with a 383 a 350 thats been bore 30 over and a caddy 500 for back up. the 2nd truck is a chevy blazer with a 4 inch body lift and 4 inch suspenchion lift and a good set of metty iroc swampers we have a 307 mild cam kb pistionns alum heads top end by edelbrock and a 350 on the side along witha 305 with a 400 sbc crank and rods kb pistions mild cam by crain cam looking for a decint set of heads...
