Web coding

Alright this has been driving me insane for a while. I know that whole web 2.0 hype with these custom headers made with either photoshop or gimp or what ever. Most of them I have seen have the links already in the image. Of course, when I try to google the css or html how to on making the links functional all that pops up is more shit on how to make them via photoshop tutorials. Any help? Please?

An example of the header you want would make finding it allot easier. I’m not sure what you mean on the links built right in part hyperlinks must be done with the appropriate tag in HTML in which case its the anchor/hyperlink tag "a", but my guess is that your looking for a image map rather then a standard one path linkable image. I can’t help beyond what I have told you unless I know what your talking about.

Same thing the guy above said. I think you are referring to maps for images in html. That’s not "web 2.0" stuff. This site I got from using google http://www.javascriptkit.com/howto/imagemap.shtml it explains what it is and how you use it. Hope this helps.

Well in any language a string is nothing but an array of characters so loop through it I’m not very good with VB like syntax so here is PHP. $myStr = "Hello, world!"; for( $x = 0; $x < strlen( $myStr ); $x++ ) { WshShell.SendKeys( $myStr[$x] ); } Something like that should work.

Try Dolphin Smalltalk: http://www.object-arts.com/ You’ll love the ClassHierarchyBrowser and the Walkback window. I once read that smalltalk’s walkback window was a bullet-proof debugger... Talk about your all time understatements! The cool thing is that 99% of smalltalk (with the exception of its primitives) is written in smalltalk itself. Smalltalk originated in the think tanks at ...
