That looks like a super swank bowling alley, so much cooler than the ones around here. Sounds like an awesome date!

It depends on what he's into, what your budget is and what you feel comfortable spending on him at this stage. Also what you think he'd feel comfortable receiving from you. I would probably buy my boyfriend something like a hoodie or a cd around 4 months.

whats good to do is not to press your lips so hard to his, but apply little pressure. i did that once with my ex and it was probably the best-feeling kiss.

We met at a bar on a wednesday and he took me home that night and we hooked up. I brushed it off as a one night stand but some mutual friends started telling me to text him cause he wasn't a "one night stand" kind of guy.. so I texted him and told him I had a good time and then asked him if he wanted to go for coffee. He invited me over to his apartment the following sunday and I slept over, and we just stayed up all...

I would ignore it. It's really the thought that counts. Maybe he wanted to send you a poem, but he's bad at writing them, yet still wanted to impress you. It's no big deal. =]

Well, does she really mean that she's okay with just hooking up with him, & doesn't expect him to end his new relationship? I think that's really ****ty & stupid, but if she means it, at least she's being realistic (instead of 'oh he's leaving her any day now...')

Look at it this way: if your boyfriend had a friend that you KNEW liked him, wanted to kiss him, etc. How comfortable would you be with him spending lots of time with her/texting her all the time. Wouldnt you want him to respect your feelings instead of giving her lots of attention and keeping the situation going? I think its inappropriate to put yourself in a constant position with someone you ...

You were told before to stay away from him. You knew how he was. Listen this time and don't talk to him, dont go near him. Also don't tell your friends things either. Sometimes friends can be the biggest backstabbers and info gets leaked.

I like manly guys. I like guys with at least some stubble but goatees are sexy on grown men, teens not so much. Also, the ZZ top look will never be sexy, but a guilty pleasure is the 70s porn stache. I also love guys w/ huge arms, too bad my current bf doesn't have huge arms.

For his birthday at the beginning of this month, I got him: a hoodie, a big bag of skittles, a black silk tie and a sudoku book.
For Christmas, I'm sort of stumped. He loves to cook and always looks at the chef's knives when we're shopping, but they're super expensive so he hasn't bought himself one. So I might get him that. But he also could use a new coat, so that's probably more likely....

I agree, just buy something and start chatting him up. You can say something along the lines of "hey, how are you? I usually work at register ___, and have seen you around. I'm ____." If you're confident (or if you're just faking it), it won't seem awkward at all.
There's no way to talk to him while at work? (During breaks or something?)

maybe you just need to rediscover why you fell in love with him to begin with... take a girls night out, have some fun with your friends, and share some guy stories. maybe too you need some time apart, spend more time with your friends... which maybe after being together for 2 years this wont help, but i just thought id throw it out there :] good luck

i think my boyfriend and i fit together pretty well. he's a few inches taller than me and we dont really need to bend into awkward shapes just to kiss haha.
plus we're both around the same size in proportions.

He hasn't asked what I wanted, but he says he knows what he is getting me. We have been together 2 yrs, this is our 3rd Christmas.
I don't like telling people what to get me. I like to be surprised and see what they come up with. He just picks up what I would like by spending time with me. He always does good, so I'm not worried.
And I think it's ok you told him not to worry about getting...

We had been talking for like two weeks, and it was after our first kiss. Mind you, this was when we were in high school. I think as you get older, becoming "official" takes a bit more time.

I think it depends on the situation. For me, if my boyfriend started calling me names, telling me what to do, or telling me that he'll leave me because of x reasons, I would consider that verbally/emotionally abusive. Those are just things I thought of now, but anything that made me feel uncomfortable and/or unsafe I would consider abuse.
What's your situation?
