I bet half life and maybe even half life 2 would work with low settings. Half life games are really fun, and counter strike is made by the same company, and it is fun too. Counter strike (the first one) would probably work fine with normal settings, while counter strike source would probably work good with low settings. I like racing games, and my favorite racing game is colin mcrae rally 2005. It has good graphics, and you can play on normal...

Hey all, Before you purchase Hordes of the Underdark, or even patch your original game to 1.69, be advised that your performance will be cut in half. The original NWN campaign has the best performance of all the NWN series; just go to [URL="http://nwn.bioware.com/downloads/linuxclient.html"] and follow the instructions. NWN game data is given to you for free! Just get the large 1.1 gb file and the smaller 5mb file, follow...

I'm not a PC gamer, but I appreciate the info. A professional game without onerous DRM or activation (right?), without the need for an optical drive, and with official Linux support sounds pretty good. And it doesn't hurt that the game has an 89% rating on gamerankings.com

11.1009 appears to correctly handle games that do not use directx to draw to the screen in 640 x 480. This means its VESA compliant I guess. I assumed vesa was a hardware instruction set yet older versions of the driver somehow crippled it.
One of my older favorites, Tyrian 2K now works.

I dont think that the GPU is gonna do it for ya....these machines were NOT meant for very graphic intensive applications or games....everybody tries to treat these like full powered laptops they ARE NOT....in most cases you are lucky if the game even loads with only 1gb of RAM, its not like you have the whole 1gb just for that app....there are other things using pieces of that 1gb too....good ...

This is possibly the most amazing program I have ever used on a laptop ever. I am shocked!
I made a video of me playing Left 4 Dead using this. I will post the YouTube link once it's up.
EDIT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2SLE_Rl4jk
There's the video once it's processed.
Excellent program, will have loads of fun with this!
