I've been experiencing some latency spikes in wow myself, and so have most the people in our guild. I'm in a wee wittle town though so I wont be surprised if im the only dude on the net at night. Maybe do a format and reload. It might not fix your problem, but will keep you busy Seriously though, do you have any firewalls etc? I realised my firewall started acting up with my antivirus, so i disable the one, my internet works...

Agreed. In my particular case I dealt with the store owner/ manager, David (name and shame em). On another occassion I applied for a data bundle with vodacom and the then available hardware E272. A week later he tells me to come in collect the hardware and sign the contract. I get there and it's a E270 and the deal is with Mtn. When i enquire he tells me vodacom had no stock so he took it upon himself to subscribe me to Mtn.... ????? I...

Did you buy it in the UK? South African issued handsets/modems may not be legally locked by law. If was bought overseas then you normally have to contact the overseas network where it was purchased from like Vodafone or Organge.
VodacomData, is there another way you know of?

I am not to far from Dainfern, in Randjesfontein. My service there, as well as at my office in Melrose is always good
I did have problems until I tried '3G ONLY'. Have you tried this?
Apart from this, perhaps a visit to the data people @ Vodaworld may help

Hello getafix. Do you use a 3G capable handset by any chance. If so, have you tried switching your phone to GSM only? What is your signal like where you are or is it happening in different locations?

Hi guys
Interesting issue. Recently my 3G modem stopped working on my home PC. I can sit next to that same PC with my laptop and it works 100% every time its just my PC that seems to have the issue. Using Hauwei E220. Initially I had some problems on that PC where it would show it was connected but not transfer data intermittently. Other times it would just randomly disconnect after a period...
