I don't know what you tried, but your Wireless IP settings seemed correct, except for the fact that you had BOTH LAN & WiFI connected to the same gateway (router) at the same time. Your WiFi did get an IP, Gateway & DNS - so the routing should work correctly via wireless. Was your WiFi's IP address settings set to automatically detect? If it were, then I would guess that your Internet should work - unless the DNS...

klasvaakie, have you been able to resolve this issue? You could use the same registry modifications for Windows XP as with Vista & 7, where you modify the WANEndpoints to 3 using regedit. Uninstall RASPPPoE and then try modifying the registry like I've explained here: http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showpost...8&postcount=79 If the PC is stalling when using RouteSentry, then you're welcome to try my Traffic Splitter app...

Telkom ADSL line rental payment...
Published (2009-12-05 21:57:00)
Hi Sorry for posting a new thread for such an arbitrary question. My question is in the title; What payment methods are accepted for the R152pm for my telkom adsl line? I'd prefer a cash payment as I don't really like the idea of debit orders or credit card payments. I'm not going to take out a contract. Also note that even though I have a land line (voice) already, it's on prepaid. So the rent each month gets deducted from...

First you need to apply for your ADSL line from telkom and get it installed.
Then you can apply for the adsl Internet data package from Screamer (or any other ISP).
Screamer do not need to know your phone number - they will just supply you with a username and password to put into your modem to connect to them.
It is not linked to one specific ADSL line - with that account you can connect ...

I have 2 adsl lines connected to the linden exchange and both are up and functioning at the moment.

What I suggest is stay away from contracts get your self a shaped or
unshaped prepaid account with Webafrica or another service provider nice
thing about prepaid it never expires and you only need to buy more when you
finished what you have no more loosing 2 gigs out of your 4 gig cap because
you had a slow month. Pre Paid is the way to go. There are loads of ISP's
now so if you search the this ...

Most important thing to do first is to change your password (this can be done probably from your ISP's website, or you might need to call them.
Secondly - log into your router, you will need to change your standard username + password on there ASAP.
What I can recommends is to maybe post the router / modem type here so we can direct you to change some settings to block external pining to ...

Short story:
Moved from a certain Jozi n.suburb to another, lets just say its H******N.
Brand new, expensive complex - overall very nice - except one thing - NO TELKOM LINES from exchange to complex - NADA - no landlines - no provision for them. I thought that access to comms is a right in S.A.
Am I right?
So therefore the developers are responsible (with PDConnect) for installing ...

I've written an application (in C# Express 2008) to split traffic for Windows users, which works much like RouteSentry.

Hi, All
I filled in the form for the R300/256kb uncapped ADSL option at DigiChilli on Sunday, but they haven't gotten back to me yet. Any idea how long it takes?
Cheers
