Is the SAOL 384 fixed IP thing really uncapped??? can't seem to believe that, anyone using that service? can I please get some ideas to that.

I'm using it now and its certainly alot better than the previous versions no doubt about that, also I wish to add that for those who wish to try it should download and install a plug-in known as Nightly Tester Tools, which help you force compatibility for your add-ons, plugins ect.

We should follow broadly along the lines of the Finnish pattern.
People without licences can watch the parliamentary channel, the learning programs and news. This is funded out of tax revenue.
With a TV licence, funds to be shared amongst the SABC, eTV and community TV stations, you get pretty much what you see now.
Pay extra for special interest channels.

I cannot help but accept Eskom is the true reason. And so the knock on of yet another IDIOT TAX (my term for the resultant increase in expenses due to gross mismanagement of South African government and semi-government institutions resulting in higher fees) comes to light. Wonderful!

Where and when will the milking of taxpayers end? Honestly! We are only 25% of the population, and we have to pay for everything the government wants funded?
Who is going to stop this and when? I promise you Saartjie Streetvendor watches more TV than I do, I dont have the time as I WORK 90% of my evenings at home to make sure I bring home a proper salary! Now I have to pay for her priviledge...
