Im gonna have to throw a wrench in the program gentelmen.....I disagree,I personaly dont like black chrome at all and with the black hood stripe I think black wheels with a machined lip would look best.Just my 2 cent though.

i would like to get tires to lower my rpms.ihave 245/40/18,with 3.73 gears,i would like to change tire size to get my rpms to 2000@65 mph,i dont want to change gears,anyone know a good tire size i could go to?

I just wash it like the rest of the car and use a chrome polish/sealer twice a year.

chrome for me was always very easy to take care of. I kept them protected so any brake dust just wiped right off. I never used many products, just my waterless car wash I used on the paint.

well it kinds reverses the whole part of putting 3.73 gears in your car~ removes the benefit you gained by gears as tire also alter gear ratio~ you would need a taller tire to pull it off, you would have to find the overall circumference of the tire and figure out revolutions per mile vs stock and then you can find how much lower it will make the rpms.

Here are a couple of good guides for offset and backspacing for mustangs. I would run a 265 width on the front at at least a 285 on the rear, as far as sidewall size I'd find a tire calculator and see what size sidewall would put you closest to stock for speedometer purposes.
