i saw this on Beyond2000 back in the day. They use sound to cancel out other unwanted sounds. Not to mention on the interior, they were able to make a standard car sound like a lambo by how they mess with the sound waves inside the vehicle. You could delete that drone while still liking your exhaust, or making it sound even better to you.

Interesting that Ford and Toyota had a patent swap... Looks like Toyota got the shit end of that trade, hahaha
