wheel spacers fitting problem
Published (2009-11-21 12:08:00)
yeah but the hubcentrics seem to have holes for the original bolts to attach them to the hubs, then another set of bolts to attach the spacers to the rims; therefore the original bolts would be protruding further than the spacers (i think) so the rim wouldn't seat properly on the spacers.

I kinda tried the whole cleaning the IAC thing and that just ended up completely breaking it... lol... aparently even though it has carbon build up you cant use carbourator... or any solvent for that matter. Found that tid bit out after I broke it... it was supposed to be cleaned with electronics cleanser. hmm... you say GT clone? did you swap in a 150mph GT cluster? if you did, you need to have it programmed. i'm thinking that either the terminals on the starter are corroded or the starter is failing, AND the PATS system is arming for another reason. because you're right, even if the PATS system arms, the engine will still crank, just not fire. try this: when the PATS system arms, it sets dtc P1260 ("theft detected, vehicle...

I think the 01-04 have a different intake manifold or something to do with an intake runner sensor. Edit: Ah ha! Here it is. "The 3.8 L OHV V6 returned as the base engine for 1999. A new split-port induction system replaced single-port induction, which increased the base model's output to 190 hp (142 kW) @ 5250 rpm and 220 ft·lbf (298 N·m) of torque @ 2750 rpm. they just added 3 more hp and torque. you can take any 1999-2003 motor and drop it in really. same mounting locations and stuff. you might have to have your ecu reflashed but that's no big deal.
