I like it but would probably end up with the the pronunciation as May as I bet you have awful bother with telling people time and time again to pronounce it My instead of May

I love Esther and was a very strong character in the Old Testament so would be a good role model. I also love Edith but I had a Hungarian friend called Edith and it was pronounced "E'deet" (like in French) which I think is a more beautiful pronunciation

i don't think it's a "chav" name in the slightest!! it is becoming very popular though,i know at least 5 under the age of 4

What about... Eleanor Charlotte Victoria Josephine/Joseline Emily/Emilia Eloise They're all pretty obvious so you've probably thought of them and rejected them, but I do think they are pretty. If you want something a bit less mainstream to give the nn Ellie, how about Mirabel?

We love Isla but rhymes with our surname We called our DD Iona instead, but does go well with Isla, depends if you like/dislike using the same initial!
