Doesn't look good for FF. Quote: The Deep End will take over FlashForward's timeslot next year, ABC has announced. Recently, the network said that it would be delaying the return of the ratings-challenged drama until Thursday, March 4. The Deep End, which centres on four up-and-coming lawyers as they enter a prestigious law firm, will debut Thursday, January 21 in the 8pm slot and run for six weeks....

There was a new, two episode "show" that took Alice in Wonderland and played with it. Thoughts?

Saw this last week.. i thought it was pretty ingenious if i say so myself. Clever take on the story, marvelous set pieces and superb talent among everyone. I enjoyed it very much. :]

I'll be stunned if they don't finish the season, but who knows. At the very least they'll release them down the line, or online. Networks seem to have wised up and realized that these sorts of shows usually have enough of a following to make them available somehow , even as a way to cut losses. Still don't love the show, but it's fine. The first two episodes are still the best, but the twist in the last one was decent;...

After the Crisis on Infinite Earths mini series/ reboot of the DC Universe, they brought out a new Huntress (Helena Bertinelli). The Original (aka Earth-2) Huntress (Helena Wayne) was erased.

It was so interesting to watch tho shows live or first run or whatever its called because the weaving thing while interesting only lasted for a short period because Angel actually left the WB and moved over to the fledgling and now defunct UPN network after the first 2 seasons. So the cross overs stopped after that with one exception if memory serves. I think it really helped get Angel off the ground but after awhile it was clear that the show...

I finished Carnivale this week. It's a fairly complex and odd show. In the end it didn't go where I had hoped. To me it seemed primed to continue. I'd have liked to see where it went next.

Nah, they were playing on local free-to-air station SBS over the past few weeks in original five-part format. The last episode was last night, so yeah. Wasn't a bad show, didn't think it was too great though. Definitely showcased the potential for zombie TV shows.

I just finished watching the first season of The Wire and I am hooked! Some of the best television I've ever seen. Thank God for HBO. Now I gotta figure out if I'm gonna buy the other seasons or Netflix them.

I didn't see it, but it was made by the same people who made Tin Man, so I wouldn't want anything to do with it.
And, just because if I didn't do this it wouldn't be an HK post, I don't like a few of the main protagonists and I'm not a fan of the whole Alice In Wonderland story anyway.
Anyway, what did you think of it DR? I'm assuming you watched it, as you started the thread. Did ...

I'll catch the pilot because it does sound interesting.
The video doesn't work by the way.

Yes, I saw the first episode. It was pretty entertaining. The mix of sex, blood, violence and religion is fairly edgy.
My main dislike of the show were the needle dick fangs. WTH?
A minor quibble were the fake Southern accents. It's minor because almost no one gets those right. There is one, count them, one passable Cajun accent out of all the accents.
So far they are being pretty true ...

Just finished this fantastic series. All my life I turned away from it just based on his sort of goofy premise and title but after being talked into watching the first two season by my brother I was hooked. I watched it constantly for three months until I saw it all.
I just finished with the finale and will be moving on to Angel shortly.
Just wondering if any of the newer ...

I heard about Noel Fielding taking over and, when that whole drug thing kicked off a couple of weeks ago, the BBC decided against it but, sadly, it seems they've relented and the muppet will be a permenant fixture.
I'm sure it'll still be good, but it appears that this programme will keep on its downward spiral. It's a shame because I used to think it was hysterically funny most of the ...

I probably should've mentioned this earlier (what with the favourite band thread and all) but there is actually an entire sub-forum dedicated to music and television , which is really where you should be starting these threads.
Anyway, my favourite TV shows...

Arrested Development
Peep Show
Mystery Science Theater 3000

This really should be in the TV section.
Now that's out of the way. I thought this sounded good, but I missed the first few episodes when it first aired, so I skipped it, waiting for them to be repeated. Unfortunately, they weren't and season 2 was aired without it happening. I saw (and loved) the first season when season 1 was shown late night, after all 5 seasons had aired and was ...

The Muppets Bohemian Rhapsody to be released as single
You remember a week or two back when we pointed you in the direction of The Muppets singing the Queen classic "Bohemian Rhapsody". It's been one of the most heavily watched YouTube clips of the past month, and quite rightly so, simply because it's brilliant.
And what's more, with over 9 million viewings notched up, record ...
