I'm not into "school rivalries". As far as I'm concerned I'm just there to learn what I can, get my degree, and get the hell out to do what I want. She's not a rival to me, she's a fellow film maker learning the craft along with me. We shouldn't be rivals, but companions. By the way, I salute the fact she's going into the craft. We need more women and minorities in American film.

She's a USC Trojan. UCLA would be a rival.

Glen, or Glenda (1953, Edward Wood Jr.) Why does Edward Wood Jr. not go down in history books, alongside his hero Orson Welles, as the greatest director of all time? Maybe that's going to far. This movie is not necessarily good, but it's not really "so bad, that it's good." There is a lot to be admired here. Glen or Glenda is semi-autobiographical of Ed Wood in dealing with transvestites and the conflict a...

I'm aware only of this movie after they release a game I think 4 years ago in PS2.

Interim (1952)
Stan Brakhage's first film Interim is, by my definition, a masterpiece. Drawing inspiration from other famous avant-garde film makers of the time, (especially the works of Maya Deren), Stan Brakhage paints a neorealist portrait of the struggles humanity faces in the modern world. Interim is about the attempts to find love in the modern world, only to realize it ...

I saw this on opening weekend with a group of friends and was the outcast because of my unique thoughts about this extremely overrated debacle of a movie. Many concede that it was "great" and few lament that it was an injustice to the famed "Robots in Desguise". Well, I for one will not be afraid to say that this is a BAD movie. So, I'm going to say it: "This is a BAD movie." But I won't ask you...

I remember when the remake was slated for a 2008 release - now it's been pushed back to 2010, and something tells me it's going to get pushed back even further. Not to say it won't happen, but still.
Regardless, it can't screw up the original any worse than Walter Hill's DC.
