The issue is most-likely in the <$mt:EntryAuthorLink type="archive" show_hcard="1"$> tag. Though it looks like you are using this tag correctly. (Documentation for the mt:EntryAuthorLink tag.) I just tested this in MT4.32 and have been able to reproduce this issue. Until this is fixed by either patching your MT installation with some custom code or until you upgrade to a version of MT that contains this fix...

AuthorDisplayName isn't always going to be the same as AuthorBasename. This should get you there, though: /author/">

I would recommend you to provide a "description" when you upload an image and then to grab it on your templates using the tag: <$mt:AssetDescription$>

Hi, Shane S. I'm wondering that my comment is useful or not for your request, but I try to write. I'm a Japanese web director and I struggled with the same thing. I wanted to know when and who post entries and pages. Check under Manage-> Users in system view to see if you still have any permissions/roles assigned to your account for the blog with id #1.
