I leaned over on the edge of my porch to pull some weeds, and the end board fell off. Rotted. So I started pulling away rotted boards, and found many more. So I pulled the decking off. The stringers were a bit rotted. And today I put on a new floor. And tomorrow, I'll rebuild the bottom of that post.

I indicated when I went into hospital that it would be a good opportunity for me to catch up on my knitting. Knowing that concentration was likely to be a challenge, I resigned myself to producing scarves. Tons and tons of scarves.
