rich - sounds good. I too ran the Lochsa for many years, but only recently discovered how much fun it is on Memorial Weekend. I will be there every year on Memorial Weekend for the forseable future. C-loop is dominated by Sotar cats and a few kayakers. I know the people who reserved C-11, C-12, and C-13 and lhowemt is in C-24 or something close. It's a fun group of people. Have you heard about the movie nights? Every year, we set up a...

The go pro HD seems to be what a lot of people are getting these days. Why get a helmet cam, I think the quality isn't as good as a normal video camera, and the angles you get are not as exciting. The only upside is that you don't have to get out of your boat to get shots. -Tom

Here's the deal: Two kids, 13 and 11, both about 4'6" 80 to 95 lbs. I am looking for good boats for them. I'm not the park and play type so would likely push them in the same direction. Reading, running, playing along the way, developing solid river-running skills is what I am looking for. I've looked at Jackson's Fun 1.5 and the Sidekick and am thinking about purchasing one of each and ...

Anybody paddled one of these? Any input. How do they compare to a shredder or Hyside Paddle cat? Is Vulcanized Neoprene that much better than the hypalon, PVC, Urethane, etc...? Thanks for the input considering a possible purchase... We'll see though.

Frame pickies Check this out, Chip put it together for me, Lowpro's attaching to the crossbar and speedrails for the rest. I've since replaced the Cross-bar T's with off-set T's so it brings the crossbar out closer to me. The speedrail fittings save $, and I like the Lowpro's where there's a lot of spin/torque on the fitting. It's bomber, made skinny enough to fit two rocket boxes on teh ...

I think that is a misprint on their website. We sell the seat for $49.95 and unless something has changed drasticaly since we last bought them, I bet NRS's does as well. Zach DRE www.downriverequip.com

Coyote works. Every trip I've brought mine on all the guys "bitch" b/c there is no room for the junk. Worse than the Eco. So it requires holding the junk while a combo balance/hover over the box. Don't lose your balance.... Best system is the open ammo can with a lid attachment. Big enough hole so no one can miss regardless of how drunk they are. The only problem with it is, does Bob's ...

Search the threads, lots of talk about his frames. They are the BOMB! Very light, and more like a piece of art than a device. The footloops are so incredible, it's like being part of the frame instead of holding on with your toes. I don't have much time to chat now, so do some searching and maybe I'll post later.
