Who ever fit you for that bike when you bought it wasn't doing their job. Only bike I'm an original owner on is my 03 Ventana. Everything else is making up for lost time.

1997 Adroit from Sausalito Cyclery (before it became Mike's Bikes). Still in excellent condition & with all original components (except tires & pedals - 747's are in a drawer) . Full gallery of high res pics here: http://gallery.me.com/duncanjeff/100031

Love those Baby Blue's,
This is just a guess, but, we used to file the nubs down on the old toeclipped pedals, allowed an easier
in n out,so they looked super worn, but were just a rider modified feature...just a guess...Nice Bike!!

Thanks for the info. I went to CC's website and it seems they may have a direct replacement. After I printed out their spec sheet and how to measure, I believe I have a 6.5" x 1.5" stroke. I emailed them for more info, but I'm not sure I want to sink $300+ into this bike. I'll wait to hear from them. My engineering group is at a golf outing today, so I won't get any word on that front until ...

Here is a good argument against outing. If more people were diligent about looking for those, that never would have gone for that price. The fork alone could have sold for that. Whoever got it was rewarded for being on point.

You sure you really want to go there? Maybe we should highlight the stuff that holds up to years of riding?

A well-worn WTB Phoenix outside the Iron Springs Brewery. Terrible light.

This one just closed and it went for more than the mid 80's Fat Chance listed a few days ago ?. After the mixed reviews given here in a recent post about Y-bikes http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=568323 , I think it's interesting. Most likely has to do with lack of knowledge of older bikes and the size of relative markets I suppose.
