Thanks for the positive info... finally...I'll use many of your last recommendations. Sorry for the long delay/reply, out of town... Everyone is different. From the beginning, I said I'm light (160 lbs.), using a small size frame, I'm into mostly aggressive CC riding with some AM, I'm not into hucking, etc. I'm a former 1980's BMX'er/1990'sDownhiller (John Tomac days) & I can push it from time to...

My El Guapo currently sits at 40 lbs and I use it for everything, but I agree if you're more an XC guy looking for a plusher ride but still wanting to do aggressive XC stuff then full air will be good for you........just don't ever ride a coil; cause it'll ruin you for air shocks

Bad news boys.....The Ti is RIP for 2010. I've had my Ti EG down to Sub 29lbs with some Carbon and lighter wheels and skinnier Tires, that lasted for about 2 weeks, went right back to the syncros bars, Flow wheelset and 2.4 inch tires. The extra lb lost was nice on the uphills, but the skinnier tires and flexier wheelset, just made things a bit sketchy on the downs. There was a guy on here with a 29 lb EG, but he had skinny tires and...

I'll go with freak event. I've been riding my Motolite a season now, including some fall rides with leaves covering all the sticks that could want to eat my RD, and no problems. That said, it's mountain biking, stuff breaks. David B.

Well, all the parts are here, one form or another. I won't have it built for about a week, since I'll be sitting in a hotel room in Chicago waiting anxiously to get it started, but here it is:
- 2009 Olive Green El Guapo - medium
- Cane Creek Double Barrell - Maybe a Ti spring, haven't decided
- 2010 Totem Solo Air, 1.5 inch steerer (I know I said I hated air, but for the price, I could ...

Pimp, your ML takes the cake for the most OCD build; Love the attention to detail. Only thing I'd recommend is going with a variable seatpost.
I have PushLoc on my Reba Team, but didn't install the assembly since I can't see the benefit to using a lockout. Under what circumstances do you feel the xloc is helpful?

Yes, 3 rides and the rear brake cable had already rubbed through the powder coating. I ordered the lizard skin patches last week before I even saw it. New bike and all I wanted to protect it.
search Abaxo on Ebay, they have them pretty cheap but shipping is high. if you are ordering anything from Jenson or someone else, the the shipping would be nothing.
Also, the raw cables (Shifter...

the two positions do not change travel or geo, they do however have different suspension qualities.........one is more progressive for coil shocks as air shocks ramp up on their own, the other is more linear to offset air shocks ramping up.....I don't remember which one is which??? I also roll an 08 Guap', I think you'll find yourself never wanting to ride anything else once you've spun her on ...
