of course if you're one of them talanted gits that I seem to ride with too often, you don't give a stuff about any of this and could probably kick my arse on a raliegh grifter! unfortunatley there's no substitute for abilty. [/quote] I have no riding skills at all,i Have to rely on having the best equipment to be able to keep up with average people on average bikes.

Afr To Fr
Published (2009-12-18 19:52:00)
For me it would seem odd to put a front mech on an AFR, this bike is designed for a BBoxx 2 for sure, well substitute the HS at present.... I think dipper makes some very valid points in regards tot he awesome chainline that the HS allows... It is for sure confidence inspiring to know that you can ride to the top and take on any stunt etc etc on the desent, thats what true hardcore riding is about..... That is pretty much what I built my FR...

12mm axle is one of those makes more difference inyour head than to the performance of your bike type upgrades. Probably a lot like a deep insert headset. I've run a db bike with a 10mm qr rear (demo 8) and can't tell the difference between that and a 12mm by 150mm rear on my ion.

Hi LTR is this:- "consider the 12mm BT rear axle foe MAXLE fitment. security if nothing else." really necessary? If so does Shimano make suitable hubs. I have never felt the need for anything beefier than a QR rear wheel.where would I experience the benefit? sdro8 - Yep , Simon at Nicolai says April delivery, I just went out to the garden and measured the depth of snow on the lawn , its 3" , have we really got more snow in East...

I have pro 2's on 823's running Marwi ti spokes(std not coloured). The ride on them is different they feel like they are flexing but i dont think they are(the spoke tension seems quite high), they seem to numb the contact you could feel to the ground but not in a bad way almost damping the trail buzz.I have had no problems with them and i have hit some pretty big stuff on them, including some ...

Yes, well Si knows all about changing orders after they've been placed. I ended up making a few alterations. I am sure he would be really pleased to know that I was partly responsible for you making this change! Have a look at Reset Racing ( http://www.reset-racing.de/ ) They can supply a 22mm insert headset fitted at the factory and they have lots of spangly colours. Price will be around £...
