Well, here she is...my latest
pride and joy. XO with XTR upgrades. Just simply an amazingly nimble yet terrifically stable ride. Money very well spent IMO. Enjoy!

I have a question about sizing. I am 6'1/2" and may have a deal on a
medium size Trance X3. My question is this bike going to be to small, and would I be better off waiting and getting a large? I don't want to buy this bike if I would be better off on a large size frame. How big a difference is there between the medium and large size frames?
Thanks

That bike listed for $1,100.00 in 08 . Is it possible that you are confused
about which bike it is ? Can you reverse the purchase ?

The XTC 2 was only a RRP of $700US in 2008 ... new.
The XTC 2 was not a 2007 model ... but the 2008 XTC 2 could have been purchased in the last few months of 2007.
Concerning the C2 the 'C" was the
copyright symbol.
This is information from Giant's US Archive. Giant has an archive on all of their national sites.
$2200 figure new, is even more expensive than 2010's Giant Anthem X3....

The first thing I did was change out the seatpost. The seatpost has a pivot, unfortunately this means that if you're seated and you hit something hard it will tilt. This is a known problem on the
XTC 1 29er.
The second thing I changed was the saddle, I got an Persons Apollo saddle.
