I understand what you are saying Profess and EVERYONE needs to be civil with eachother. I know I don't want this thread closed. So let's remember that we need to be working together so we can get an answer about updates. @Profess yes I still think the cliq will be updated even though Moto is possible releasing other phones running 1.5   Heavenleigh Connected by MotoBlur™

Yeah its very annoying. And the funny part is tech support's remedy is to power cycle and/or remove & replace the battery. Witch is the same fix they give for any problem. If that doesn't work then a factory reset. That's even more annoying. When that doesn't work then a replacement device is recommend. Its getting old for me. Now on my 5th device and trying to hang on to it, with hope we get some sort of update to...

Nope, It hasn't. Maybe it's US only. I thought that it was only >1.6 because a friend has an htc with 1.6 and he has the voice search option.

Maybe you should have compared the HD2 and the tilt because the droid and the cliq are two completely different phones. P.S. HTC has this thing called an RSS feed that you can get up to date live information about releases. Not to mention the carriers. Motorola has NO track record other than saying NOTHING and guess what . . . people have to check Motorola's site daily just to see if they have said ANYTHING. I'll take having to...

You're welcome. I agree, the users manual that manufacturers (not just moto) put out these days are pretty incomplete. It's a good thing forums exists or I would be lost too!

I will assume this is a 1.5 software bug where it doesn't search the "Organizations" data.? One more reason to hope for an Android update.? Is there a way to flag this as a known issue to give Motorola an incentive to speed things up??

Looks like the web site is serving you the WAP version of the web page (Same one you would get if you sent your regular browser to  http://www.mazda3forums.com/index.php?wap2 ). I would assume they are doing this based on the User Agent string sent by the Cliq's browser. You might want to ask the web site operator. I get the same thing on my Cliq with the update that went out ...

I've had the Cliq for over a month and this just happened to me. When I woke up this morning I saw my screen it was stuck on that logo as well.

plug it in with the USB> drag down your menu bar> hit USB connected>hit USB drive and you should see it.

Download Winff if your using windows and it has an option for android and that should work good, I tryed it once. Give it a shot.

I concur... we do need an answer. Will CLIQ/DEXT be updated to 2.0? On the other hand... Why isn't CLIQ/DEXT at least at 1.6 at this point?

when in your contacts open your keyboard and start typing the company name and it will bring up the contacts for that company. i use this all the time.

I don't usually like to resort to a reset as the "fix-all" but it may be a good idea in this case. Go to Menu > Settings > SD card & Storage > Factory data reset. Let us know if you continue to have this problem.

It sounds like your data plan is the issue not the phone. You might want to call Tmo Tech support and have them fix your data issue.

well a reset is easy now that you have the CLIQ since all your contacts have been synced to gmail contacts. go there online and you should see them all. also all your pics, music, vids etc... are on the SD card which does not get touched during a factory reset. i can factory reset and be up and running again with all my contacts and calendar events in about 15 minutes that the great thing ...

I was able to set up gmail and exchange, but yahoo keeps failing. I am getting ready to try POP3 and see how that goes. Yahoo fails with "incorrect login" but since i have had the same acount for 15 years, I know it is not me.
