Would You Buy A Chinese Scooter

Any scooter that costs less than $1200 new is a piece of crap. The parts are low quality and you will have to replace parts more often. Screws and metal parts will rust the first time it gets wet. As long as you or someone you know can work on it every 6 months or so to keep it running it might last for 20,000 miles.

Good safety point & else is neede besides brains TG.  This is what I noticed back in the early  50s with Vespa, Lambratta, & NSU Prima scooters I sometimes worked on.  Cages seem to be almost in the point of running you down when IN TOWN & yes Banff was a town back in those days.  aLL the scooters then were 125 to 175cc but quite guttless to scooters, NOW of the same engine size.

Riding the scooter today to the store had to dodge chuck holes and tail gaters. Back in the subdivision, 25mph zone, with SUV hot on my tail and I'm doing 35 mph. Ready to turn left into my driveway and he's ready to pass. Hood decor time? Pulled over to let the arse pass. What Smitty says,........... Amen. 10" tires and chuck holes don't mix, another worry. Pre drove the route in a cage.

Pitty this came about, for it looked as if this maker might be churning out a decent scooter or two. Still some of us with a lot of m/c experience have been pointing out this might come about in time if not darn soon. There is a chance that someone might pick up the challenge to become the USA distriburter, but questionable if there is still one or every was one in Canada. I do ...

It's kind of hard to say considering we don't know the brand. Figure out the brand, and we'll see what's what. It sounds like a cheapy to me, but lets check things out before you talk trash on it.

Sounds like Bridgestone when trying to sell motorcycles during early 60 with the main letters being BS, sort of like KIA cages being of reminder of those troops troops at 'Nam, Afthanistan, or Iraq being Killed In Action.

I'm kinda hoping that they will redo the styling as it now looks like a Majesty 400 (outside that grey streak/frame?). What does this offer that the Burgmans do not?

Ok, so we scooter peeps have been left aside fending for ourselves for prestige, honor and appreciation right? Well put this in you pipe and smoke it. I suggest a testing ground for 2009. I suggest that all scooter owners come together in a first pre-annual scooter fest and ride. I am looking for ideas and dates that we could all meet for a 50 to 200 mile ride. This is mainly to get ...
